1. Nature of Service
All services offered through hikinginseychelles.com are date-specific leisure services, including guided hikes, nature experiences, sightseeing tours, transfers, and related activities. Due to the nature of these services, availability is limited and tied to specific dates, times, and conditions.
2. Time Reference
All times and deadlines referenced in this policy are based on Seychelles Time (SCT), which is UTC+4. Cancellation windows are calculated based on the scheduled start time of the booked service.
3. Customer Cancellations
Customers may cancel a confirmed booking subject to the following tiered refund structure:

To cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible via the Contact page. The cancellation time is determined by when the cancellation request is received and acknowledged by us.
4. Payment Processing Fees
Please note that third-party payment processing fees (e.g. credit card transaction fees) are non-refundable in all cases. These fees are charged by the payment provider and are outside our control. Any applicable refund will be calculated on the service amount excluding these fees.
5. Changes, Safety & Weather
We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any service due to safety concerns, adverse weather conditions, environmental hazards, or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event that we cancel a service:
- We will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date or service.
- If no suitable alternative is available or accepted, a full refund will be issued.
Route changes or minor itinerary adjustments made for safety or operational reasons do not constitute a cancellation and are not eligible for a refund.
6. EU/UK Consumer Notice
Under EU and UK consumer protection regulations, the right of withdrawal that normally applies to online purchases does not apply to contracts for leisure services provided on a specific date or within a specific period. This includes all experiences, tours, and transfers booked through our platform.
By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a date-specific leisure service and that the standard 14-day cooling-off period does not apply.
7. Refund Processing
Where a refund is due, it will be processed within 5 to 10 business days from the date the cancellation is confirmed. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
